This is truly an exceptional collection of suspenseful short stories! Each is a thrilling short read. I am amazed at the fruits of Lisa's imagination as you will savor each one.... Between these pages, you'll find tales of demons, pirates, gods, aliens and so much more... Highly recommended!

Lisa Kessler has a SUPER imagination. This is demonstrated by the stories in this book. While all different in subject matter, running from demons, to outer space, to mages, ghosts, animated houses etc etc. the story telling is at the highest level.
The majority of the stories have a twist in that you are reading them and think you have it figured out and, right out of left field, at the end of the story ,the twist comes out. INTOXICATING !
The characters are immediately compelling and because these are short stories the plot develops quickly and sucks you into the story.
The stories are so entertaining that I sat and read the whole book in one sitting.
VERY VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Sometimes when I come off of reading a really long novel or a book that's really emotionally draining, I begin to war with myself. My eyes are usually burning from being overuse and I usually need a few days before I jump back into another one. When this is the case, I usually dig into my iPod for audiobooks but sometimes a few good short stories will work just as well. This is the case with this book. Lisa Kessler has put together some wonderful short stories of the paranormal that are wonderful snapshots of some very strange situations. They are very fun reads and were a welcome break.
